Gave a plumbing business a website, AI chat assistant, monthly SEO blog and a voice receptionist that never misses a call

Six-page website, custom-trained AI chat assistant, automated SEO blog and an AI voice receptionist that books appointments and sends call summaries.

The problem

An owner-operated plumbing company was losing work in two places. Calls came in while the owner was on a job, went to voicemail, and the caller phoned the next plumber on the list. And there was no effective online front door — no site that established the business as credible, captured enquiries, or ranked for the searches local customers were actually making.

The owner had neither the time nor the inclination to write blog content, answer the same questions over chat, or sit by the phone. Anything built had to run on its own, speak in the brand's tone, and be trained on the business's real services, FAQs, pricing and processes rather than generic scripts.

What it cost

Every missed call was a job that went elsewhere. Without content or SEO, the business was invisible to customers searching online, and enquiries that did arrive through the site had no one to answer them instantly.

What we built

A four-part system delivered over six weeks. A custom, mobile-responsive website of up to six pages with contact forms and calls to action on every page, Google Analytics, basic SEO and hosting. An AI chat assistant trained on the company's own content that answers visitor questions, captures name, email and enquiry details, and reports monthly on what visitors ask. A blog automation system that researches what local customers search for and publishes four SEO-optimised articles a month with internal links to the services and contact pages.

And an AI voice receptionist built on the company's services, FAQs, pricing and processes with a brand-matched voice persona. It answers when the owner cannot, books appointments and sends confirmations, handles common questions without escalation, and delivers a call summary to the owner by email or SMS after every interaction. Launch included a walkthrough of the dashboard and reports, 30 days of post-launch monitoring, and a monthly optimisation retainer.

What changed

No call goes unanswered and no website enquiry waits, content publishes on a schedule with no input from the owner, and the owner sees every conversation in a summary rather than a voicemail queue. Call and lead figures are still to be collected from the client.
